VVE Weekly Update- August 17th-21st

Posted Date: 08/17/26 (08:55 AM)

First Week = Mission Complete!

VVE Families,

Our first week is officially complete and it was truly one of the best starts to the year. It was so wonderful to see all of the smiling faces back on campus with us all week long. We truly believe that each and every one of them is exactly where they need to be and that this year will be a year unlike any other.

VVE WEEKLY NEWSLETTER- AUGUST 17th-21st

Attendance is a huge priority for us this year

You will receive notifications and phone calls when your student is absent, tardy or leaves early. The more students are in the seats of the classrooms with our exceptional teachers, the better opportunity they have to reach their full potential.

Each week that the campus reaches 97%, we will be allowing students to wear hats to campus that Friday.

Arrival and Dismissal
The morning drop off continues to improve. All cars were through the line by 7:45 this morning. We appreciate you all following the traffic flow. A lot of times our line stalls are due to students not being ready to exit their vehicle or students who are dropped off in the parking lot and are walking through the line. Please help us keep students safe by following our arrival procedures and getting into our car rider line.

We will begin dismissal at 3:40 today to ensure that the 10 minutes we borrowed last week is given back to the classroom teachers. You can help support our dismissal process by having your QR ready, staying off of your cell phone, and having doors unlocked. It is a process that works well when all the pieces work together.

We are looking forward to a great 2026-2027 school year.
